Anne Morrow Lindbergh, the wife of the brilliant yet controversial aviator Charles Lindbergh, was one of the most-loved writers of her generation. The author of the best-seller phenomenon Gift from the Sea, Anne led an extraordinary life. She and Charles were a flying team, breaking records for speed, and charting the first navigation routes through parts of Asia, Africa, and South America. They were the celebrity couple of their age, but the public’s obsession with their personal lives led to the tragic kidnapping and murder of their first child. Throughout it all, Anne wrote. This is her story.
